A simple plugin allows editors to enter the octothorpe servers they’re registered with in the Admin. It then inserts the pure HTTP method of sending octothorpes to those servers in the head of posts, as well as the simple JS that we use to display octothorpes inline. Then, whenever you tag a page in the standard way, those tags get converted to octothorpes, and sites across your networks can see your posts.
